Masterson Sta-Wet Handy Palette Sponge Refills are designed to fit the Masterson Sta-Wet Handy Palette. The cellulose sponge transfers moisture evenly to the Sta-Wet Acrylic Palette Paper, extending the working time of acrylics and other water-based paints. Its absorbent cellulose construction provides the moisture retention required for the Sta-Wet system.
Developed by Masterson more than 25 years ago, Sta-Wet Palettes are designed to slow the drying of paint and extend working time.
The compact Sta-Wet Handy Palette keeps acrylics and similar water-soluble paints moist on an open palette for hours. When the lid is closed, paints can remain workable for days and, in some cases, weeks. The wet sponge and permeable palette paper provide a continuous source of moisture.
