Shopping online can be frustrating and overwhelming if youre a beginner and not quite sure what youre looking for. The team of artists and teachers at Handprinted have curated a range of kits and bundles to introduce a specific technique with everything you need to get started.
We want customers to be able to purchase a bundle or kit and be able to jump straight into making, for example the Linocut Bundle is made up of the products we use during our beginner linocut Fab Friday workshop. Available with water-based or oil-based ink to suit the printmakers preference. The kit is the bones of their practice which can then be added to through coloured inks or different papers.
The products in each kit are considered and selected so that the printmaker starts their practice with good quality but affordable tools.
Ternes Burton Register Pins are designed for tight, consistent registration of paper while printing with lino or wood blocks. This Handprinted Registration Bundle will set you up with the kit to align your layers on multi colour reduction prints and other projects that require accurate registration. The plastic pins are similar height to the now discontinued metal 0.085 pins, still lower in total height than traditional lino.
