Shopping online can be frustrating and overwhelming if youre a beginner and not quite sure what youre looking for. The team of artists and teachers at Handprinted have curated a range of kits and bundles to introduce a specific technique with everything you need to get started.
We want customers to be able to purchase a bundle or kit and be able to jump straight into making, for example the Linocut Bundle is made up of the products we use during our beginner linocut Fab Friday workshop. Available with water-based or oil-based ink to suit the printmakers preference. The kit is the bones of their practice which can then be added to through coloured inks or different papers.
The products in each kit are considered and selected so that the printmaker starts their practice with good quality but affordable tools.
Handprinted have designed a two beginners kits to start your relief printing journey. Both contain high quality tools and materials to give the very best start. The Waterbased Bundle contains a tube of Schminke Relief Ink, a high quality ink that can be washed up with water. Schminke inks have a long open time but once printed will dry quickly.
