Lascaux Satin Impasto Gel 3 is a thick-bodied acrylic gel that dries to a water-resistant, satin finish. When mixed with acrylic colours, it enhances pastosity and volume, imparting a buttery consistency to the paints .
Thinnable with water, this lightfast and age-resistant gel becomes viscous-elastic and flexible when dry. It not only extends drying times for heavier impastos but also serves as an adhesive for collages and embedding materials. Suitable for transparent or opaque colour applications, it can be used alone or combined with pigments, earth, sand, and other granular substances, and even as a final texture varnish for works intended for interiors.
