Description
Manetti Gilder’s Tips are natural hair tools used for transferring gold leaf and other precious metal leaf during gilding. Available in various sizes, they are designed to lift the cut leaf from the book or cushion and place it onto the surface being decorated.
The soft, natural hair helps handle delicate metal leaf with greater control during transfer. For easier lifting, the tip can be lightly rubbed on the skin before use, as the warmth, slight natural oil, and electrostatic effect help the leaf adhere to the tool more readily.
