Description
The medium texture surface of Art Spectrum Colourfix paper is a superb substrate for dry media such as soft pastels, charcoal and pencils. The 340gsm paper is crafted from acid-free, hot pressed European archival watercolour paper, utilising screen-printing techniques with Art Spectrum Colourfix lightfast primers.
Its tough, medium texture surface can be sanded, scrubbed, soaked, and reworked over and over. It will hold multiple layers of pastel without the need for fixative, allowing the colour of the pastel to be preserved. It is also suitable for acrylics, inks, silverpoint, oil pastels, gouache, and watercolours.
