Description
RGM New Age Pastrello Palette Tools are a range of palette knives developed by RGM in collaboration with Italian painter Franco Pastrello. Each tool features a tempered steel blade, manually ground for optimum flexibility, with a smooth finish, a polished Bubinga wood handle, and a polished brass ring securing the blade to the handle.
They are designed for greater flexibility and soft painting techniques, where fine details and smooth colour spreading are required. The ergonomic handle includes a hole for studio storage, and the tools are suitable for traditional, alkyd, and water-mixable oils, as well as heavy body acrylics.
Franco Pastrello is an Italian painter known for his palette knife painting, especially his soft palette knife technique. Born in Venice, he has held many solo exhibitions, and his work has been selected for various international awards.
