Description
Manetti Bronzino Skewing Brushes are large, round gilding brushes with soft bristles, designed for skewing and dusting work in both precious metal and imitation metal leaf applications. Fitted with a nickel-plated brass ferrule and a wooden handle, they are made for controlled finishing work after gilding.
Used after the size has dried, they help remove excess, loose, or overhanging leaf from the surface to clean up the gilded area and reveal the finished design. Their soft bristles also make them useful for gently dusting gilded surfaces and helping to refine small details during the final stages of gilding.
