Description
Manetti Gilding Tool Single Edge For Cutting Leaf is a metal gilders knife designed for cutting precious metal and imitation leaf into smaller sections before application. With a blade of approximately 15cm, it allows leaves of different sizes to be cut cleanly in a single motion using light pressure and a slicing action.
It can also be used to help transfer leaf from the booklet to the gilding cushion, making it a practical tool for preparation as well as cutting. To maintain the blade properly, it should be kept dry at all times, and if needed, cleaned before reuse with 99.9% pure ethanol.
